When a death occurs, the ‘Grant of Probate’ can only be granted by the Courts and they will only accept the original Will. If the original documents are lost or destroyed, then any previous Will, or the Intestacy Laws (if there is no other original Will) will apply with undesirable consequences. It is therefore critical that your documents are securely stored.

You can store their documents with our Trust partners, Countrywide Tax and Trust Corporation. You will receive copies of your documents and a certificate of storage with reference numbers and details regarding who to contact if the original documents are required.

Storage also includes a checking service, whereby we ensure all documents are correctly signed and dated and therefore valid.
